ACT Ferrite Cable Clamps provide a quick ‘Retro-fit’ solution to troublesome RFI problems. RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) skims along the sheathing of the alarm cable, passing inside the detector and onto the DC terminals, causing modulation of the 12Volt supply.
By fastening a Ferrite Clamp around the cable at the troublesome detector, LIM, or Keypad etc., ‘blocks’ RF signals passing from the cable into the alarm equipment. There are two sizes of ferrite cable clamps available, supplied in packs of four. Size: A for 4/6Core and Size B: for 8/12Core.
