Mains EMI/RFI filter with lightning protection
The series 230MSF Mains Filter will prevent phantom alarms and system malfunctions caused by EMI/RFI interference and nearby lightning via the 230VAC mains supply. The filter is designed to protect against interference on a continuous basis - but in the event of a direct lightning strike, it will self sacrifice in order to protect the equipment.
If this occurs, mains power loss will be indicated by the control panel and the filter will have to be replaced. Terminal connections are provided, Brown Live, Blue neutral, Green/Yellow Earth.
